When conducting a damp and or timber inspection we always look to follow the trail, for example where there is a damp wall, any sub-floor timbers that are in direct contact with it are at risk from fungal decay and woodworm. Although we carry the best up to date diagnostic equipment, in some cases, for example where the cause of dampness is obscure, the use of trained eye is just as important.
